E30 trans mount sorted

I tweaked the design on the E30 transmission crossmember last night. I made it to fit both the T5 and the Tremec. I should have some in, and some E30 oilpans made up, in a week or two.

I finally massaged enough of the transmission tunnel to fit the Tremec in the E30. And check out our new Facebook page!

Fitting the T5 in the E30

I have been learning the hard way how much the trans tunnel needs to be massaged to fit the T5 bellhousing. Install, mark, remove, beat with a hammer, repeat! I think I did this maybe 6-8 times yesterday? I dont want to beat too much because it takes away from legroom. So close, but not in yet.

Oilpan mod

Well, after I dropped the engine in, the oilpan was hitting the rack bolts, so out it came and I had a new pan made. Take 2!
